Location: Kei’s kitchen in Seer Green, Buckinghamshire

Price: £120 pp Weekdays | £130 pp Weekend

Includes all ingredients, printed recipes and list of shops to buy the Japanese ingredients, tasting Japanese plum wine with edamame beans and Japanese rice crackers, sit down lunch/dinner served with steamed rice with wine or Japanese sake, green tea ice cream and Black Cod to take home.

Please note: Black cod has to be marinated in miso mixture for 2 to 3 days. Pre-marinated Black Cod will be served for lunch/dinner and you will take home a Black Cod dish you prepared during the class.

  • Introduction to Japanese ingredient and utensils

  • How to prepare miso mixture for Black Cod and Kei will also introduce you to different varieties of miso, soy bean paste

  • Black cod “Saikyou yaki”

  • Watercress and Shitake mushrooms in walnuts and citrus yuzu sauce 

  • Yellowtail sashimi jalapeno a la Nobu

  • Asparagus in black sesame sauce

  • Presentation skills
