Cooking Classes

  1. The full price of the class/course is required to confirm a booking and secure your place.
     

  2. A confirmation email will be send to you to acknowledge receipt together with details of date and time of the class/course .
     

  3. Please let us know of any food intolerances or special requirements at the time of your booking.
     

  4. All bookings made are non refundable; however re-scheduling the date of class/course can be discussed with more than one week ‘s notice. Depending on the situation there might be an administration charge.
     

  5. We often take photos during our cookery classes. If you do not want to be photographed or you would not like your image to be on our website, please let us know.
     

  6. By attending our cookery classes/courses, you will have a hands on experience using knifes  and other kitchen equipment. You will be briefed on health and safety therefore we accept no responsibility for injuries caused by yourself. We are covered by public liability insurance.
     

  7. If the class has to be cancelled for unforeseen reasons we will notify you and you will receive a full refund.

Catering and Events

  1.  A deposit of 50% of the food cost is payable in advance by the client to secure your booking.

    Wabi Sabi Kitchen reserves the right to require full payment of food cost at any time prior to the date of function.

  2. Confirmation of final minimum numbers must be given five working days prior to the date of the event. After that time, if the number decreases the client will be invoiced on the number previously confirmed.

  3. Unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangement, all invoices are due for settlement within 7 days of the date of the issue.
    Wabi Sabi Kitchen reserves the right to require the final settlement including the staff cost on the day of the function.
    We reserve the right to charge interest at 5% per month charged on a daily basis on any invoice which remains unpaid after the due date.

  4. In the event of cancellation of an event, the following percentage of the sales value will be charged to the client:
    Food:
    Cancellation within 5 days - 25% of quoted cost Cancellation within 3 days - 50% of quoted cost Cancellation within 2 days - 100% of quoted cost
    Staff:
    Cancellation within 2 days - 50% of quoted cost
    Cancellation within 1 day - 100% of quoted cost
    Flowers and Decoration:
    Cancellation within 5 days - 25% of quoted cost
    Cancellation within 2 days - 50% of quoted costCancellation within 1 day -   100% of quoted cost

  5. The content of menus, decorations or any other items Wabi Sabi Kitchen shall supply are subject to market availability.Any alteration will be notified to the client.

  6. The client is wholly responsible for all equipment. Any breakage, loss or damage, however caused by the client, will be charged to client at the full replacement cost.

  7. No liability is accepted for failure of performance due to strike, lockout, accidents, fire, flood, ice, snow, obstruction or other events beyond the control of Wabi Sabi Kitchen.

  8. Drinks and dessert:If the client decide to use their own tea, coffee or dessert and would like us to serve, the following handling charge will apply:
    Tea, coffee  £1 per person
    Dessert £1.50 per person

  9. Overtime for staff:
    Overtime after 11 pm is charged per waiter/ waitress/ barman / chef

  10. Please let us know of any food allergies or food intolerance.
    Many of our food contains nuts and soya products.

Pop Up and Special Events

  1. The full price of the event is required to confirm a booking and secure your place.

Any complaint must be made verbally at the time  of the event / catering / cookery class concerned and followed in writing not more than 48 hours after the event/ catering/ cookery class date.
