Learn to fillet fish for sashimi using authentic Japanese techniques with expert chef Akira, guest chef from renowned Japanese restaurant, Nobu in London..
An exciting and ideal workshop if you love fish and sashimi and want to take your skills to the next level!
Demonstration followed by hands-on.
After the session, you will enjoy the sashimi you created, miso soup, two vegetarian side dishes and steamed rice with Chef Akira and Kei!
You will leave feeling inspired with the skills to create tasty sashimi at home!
Includes all ingredients and fish we will be using, e.g.; black sea bream, sea bass, fillet of hiramasa and scallops (depends on fish of the day) , a sit-down late lunch of sashimi with miso soup, two vegetable side dishes, steamed rice, a glass or two of wine and green tea or coffee.

You will learn :
- Introduction to utensils and fish/sashimi (how to choose fresh fish etc)
- How to fillet the whole fish
- How to slice the fillet into sashimi - various techniques and thickness to slice them
- How to slice scallop sashimi
- Presentation skills
Please let Kei know of your dietary requirement in advance . Please note, one vegetable dish will contain sesame seeds.
